The NARROWS Art Retreat
Ashley has been a professional graphic designer and illustrator since graduating from the Capilano University IDEA School of Design in Vancouver in 2007. She gained experience working for Hangar 18 Creative in Vancouver where she annually designed the menus and art directed the photography and promotional materials for Boston Pizza International, was involved in the re-branding of Vancouver International Airport and was the lead designer during their time as the Official Airport of the 2010 Winter Olympics. In 2010, Ashley branched out with her business partner and started their own design studio, Blondblonde Creative in Squamish BC. At their peak they managed a team of six contracting staff and specialized in branding, print collateral and web design for clients such as Jack FM, Vancouver Trolley, Bombay Brow Bar, Mongolie Grill and Kranq Courier. In 2016 Ashley moved back to her hometown of Kimberley, BC with her young family and has continued her design career locally as a freelancer and with Corridor.
She was in residency to work on her own art practice and visually stunning land art.
